| Updated December 27th, 2011 Wishing our Westside Wrestling Family a Happy & Safe 2012 New Year!!! BRYAN TOURNAMENT We will be going to the Bryan Tournament on Sunday Jan 8th. Registration forms are available at the club, and below. If interested, please complete the registration form, paper clip your payment to the form and place it in the yellow envelope located on the table at the club. Also, fill out the roster sheet at the club. Forms are due by Wednesday, Jan 4th. In addition, Coach "Little" Dave needs a rough estimate on the numbers who will attend, so if your son will be wrestling, please email with your wrestler's name and that he is attending. Thanks in advanced! Singlets Wrestlers don't forget your WWC singlet!! New Singlet $55 Used Singlet $25 Old Trade-in (if in acceptable shape) $20 Borrowed singlets available first come first serve and must be returned end of season. ***Parents,*** We have a record number of kids registered this year--and we are running low on some singlet sizes. So, if you are holding on to a used singlet from previous years, please bring to the club this week so we can accurately gauge how many singlets we will need to order to ensure we have enough moving forward. Wrestling Shoes Wrestlers who have outgrown your shoes and would like to donate it to another wrestler or you are a wrestler looking for a pair of wrestling shoes please see a coach prior to or after practice. HEALTH & HYGIENE If at ANY time your wrestler has a rash or even a scratch, you MUST see a coach prior to wrestling and have them inspect it. After wrestling you MUST shower head to toe with soap & water. Also wash your clothing after each practice. We are fortunate to have Coach Doug Russell, MD (Dr. Doug) and he was able to procure some hyblicens surgical soap for the club, and can be purchased for $15 for 16 oz bottle. | Congratulations to all of Westside Wrestling Club's wrestlers. You have all improved so much this year! Next year will be even more of an amazing 2010-2011 year! Thank you coaches for helping our wrestlers be outstanding youths and wrestlers and guiding them to great sportsmanship. Thank you parents for getting your wrestlers to practice and on time!!! You have amazing kids! MOST IMPORTANTLY.... Thank you Mr. & Mrs Barnhill for all the things you've done for our children and our club. Because of you both we all have a second family/home! |
